What is SlabWare?

SlabWare is a cloud-based inventory management and e-commerce software package developed specifically for the stone industry. Our goal is to increase the sales of our customers by helping them to organize and manage their inventory and make it available at a custom online store.

Choose Your Domain

Once you decide to acquire your SlabWare system the next step is to choose the domain you’d like to use for your new website. This domain can be anything, for example inventory.yourcompanyname.com. If your company already has a website that you want to keep you can simply link from there to the inventory section of your SlabWare website.

We’re ready to assist you and once you give us your approval we can have your website ready to go within 48 hours.

Online Inventory For Your Customers

One of the main purposes of SlabWare is to give you the ability to show your inventory directly to your customers on your SlabWare website. You can choose to give as much or as little information as you like with photos, prices, dimensions, quality notes and more available.

Increase Your Sales

SlabWare is a unique e-commerce tool for the stone industry. By providing the online features mentioned above it’s possible to greatly increase your sales. Once your customers see how easy it is to browse your inventory you’ll see them returning to your site again and again. It frees them from having to rely on calls, emails, or showroom visits to view and select slabs. They can do it from the comfort of their own home or anywhere with an internet connection.

How do I get my website?

Once you decide to acquire your SlabWare system the next step is to choose the domain you’d like to use for your new website. This domain can be anything, for example inventory.yourcompanyname.com. If your company already has a website that you want to keep you can simply link from there to the inventory section of your SlabWare website and still use all the inventory management and sales features behind the scenes.

Can I print my own labels or slab tags?

SlabWare has integrated QR code label printing, readable with any smartphone or tablet.

Our Concept

SlabWare is the only online inventory management system specifically designed for the stone industry. SlabWare offers the best in inventory management as well as the ability to display your materials to customers on your own SlabWare website. This ability to show (and sell!) materials 24/7 is a key element of SlabWare’s vision.

Exporter Version

This version of SlabWare is designed for business selling in quantities from bundles to full containers. The inventory and order management software packages are focused on the export industry and managing the information specialized to that sector.

This version of SlabWare is designed for companies that import materials and distribute them locally in slab or multi-slab quantities. The software suited is tailored to this business model. Most of our customers for the distributor version are located in the US or Canada but we’ve adapted our software to be suitable for any country in the world.

Fabricator Version

My business has more than one location. Do I need to purchase more than one subscription?

Currently our system is only available in English and Portugese but the backend can work in and can display in any currency you choose and with both metric and imperial measurements.

Can I switch from the Fabricator Version to the Distributor Version?

While we’re happy to let you use any version of the system you prefer we want to make sure you understand the different designs of our systems. The distributor version is designed to sell whole slabs and for the customers of the distributor to be able to log in, view slabs and prices, and buy immediately. The backend features of this version are well suited to this business model.

The fabricator version, in contrast, is designed with maximizing profits in mind and has built-in support for remnants and less-than-slab quantities. It allows your customers to view your materials but not see prices unless you choose. This lets you control the flow of information to your customers and maximize sales at the same time. Feedback from our fabricator customers about the Fabricator Version of SlabWare have been overwhelmingly positive.

Which devices can I use slabware from?

You can use SlabWare from any devices with an internet connection including computers, smartphones, and tablets.

Can I switch to other versions during my subscription?

Can we use our own logos and colors on our SlabWare website or do we need to work from your template?

How will we upload photos? Do we need to go through you or can we do it ourselves?

You always manage your own inventory photos. Your settings can make sure that any photo uploaded on your backend is automatically displayed on your front end website but you have control over who can see what. You never need us to make things visible or hidden for you.

Are there any other accounting tools available? Can this system calculate local taxes and accounts payable?

No. SlabWare is designed for the inventory management and sales activities of your business. You’ll need a separate system to use for local financial transactions and accounts payable. As we integrate with QuickBooks for your AR needs we recommend also using them for your AP needs.
